Your vessel,
as good as
factory or better.
A complete interior, built in Oakland Park by the shop that specializes in them. The price we quote is the price you pay. Nothing changes without your say so. Two years of warranty in writing, and an honest timeline with a call from us if it moves.

6-Steps from Quote to Warranty
The same sequence every time, so there is never a question about what happens next or when the boat comes back.
Quote
Send photos or bring the boat by. We give you a written price and an honest timeline, not an optimistic one.
Deposit
Fifty percent to start, and that books your slot. The balance is due on delivery, not before.
Materials
We order your vinyl, foam and thread. Sunbrella, Spradling and Morbern, with Gore-Tenara thread and 316 stainless staples.
Build
Pattern, cut, sew, fit. Diamond stitching matched to your factory pattern, or to whatever you have designed with us.
Install
We fit it to the boat and check every panel, snap and track before you see it.
Warranty
You get your signed craftsmanship warranty, with the terms in full and the maintenance that keeps it active. Two years on every job, from the day the boat is delivered.
Sometimes we pull an interior apart and find the PVC underneath cracked or broken, or the foam broken down and falling apart, sometimes with mildew or pink mold through it. When that happens we stop, show you what we found, and give you the options and the cost in writing. You decide whether we carry on. Nothing goes on an invoice that you have not already agreed to.
Two-year Craftsmanship Warranty
Twenty-four months from the day your boat is delivered. Every job, whatever we built and whatever you run. The warranty covers the original owner and does not transfer if the boat is sold.
What we cover, at no cost
- Stitching and seams: unravelling, tearing or separation of structural seams and decorative piping
- Fit and tension: severe loosening, stretching or shifting of cushion panels beyond normal break-in
- Fasteners and hardware: loosening or failure of snaps, staples, tracking or backing frames we installed
Materials
- Marine canvas carries the manufacturer's five to ten year limited warranty against severe fading and loss of strength
- Premium vinyls carry the manufacturer's UV and mildew-resistance guidelines
- If a material fails under its own warranty the supplier replaces the raw material. Labour to re-pattern is the owner's cost unless the manufacturer covers it
What it does not cover
- Sunscreen and suntan lotion staining, bug spray, fuel spills
- Bleach, harsh or acid-based cleaners, abrasive scrubbing
- Pressure washing damage, including split seams and water forced through vinyl backing
- Mould and mildew growth, which is a maintenance issue rather than a craftsmanship defect
- Zippers and enclosure tracks after the first ninety days
Keeping it active
- Rinse with fresh water after every trip
- Soft microfibre mitt and a mild pH-neutral boat soap
- UV protectant every thirty to forty-five days, or a professional ceramic coating
- Never snap a storage cover over damp cushions
Interiors We've Built
Every one of these came out of the Oakland Park shop.

You have probably had an interior done before.
If you have had one done in South Florida, you probably know how it usually goes. A date you were given that came and went. A price that grew after the boat was already in the shop. Calls that stopped getting returned.
If you have never had upholstery work done before, those three things are exactly what to watch for, and they are worth knowing before you decide to work with anyone and hand them a deposit. Ask how they arrive at your timeline, and what happens when it moves. Ask what happens to the price if they open a cushion and find rot or broken foam underneath. Ask who you call, and how fast they answer, when the boat is three weeks past the date. A shop that gives you a straight answer to all three is a shop worth using, whether or not it turns out to be this one.
We built Rivers Refined around not being that shop.
Shaun Rivers has been a professional upholsterer since 2012, trained at WyoTech, and has spent the last fourteen years on the tools. Rivers Refined has run out of Oakland Park since 2023. Most of our work now is Nor-Tech, because that is what we chose to get very good at.
South Florida is hard on an interior. Sun, salt and speed break down seams, foam and vinyl faster than anywhere else in the country, and a lot of what we replace was built for a milder climate than this one. We use Sunbrella, Spradling and Morbern vinyls, Gore-Tenara thread and 316 stainless staples, because those are the ones that survive here.
Our materials come from the same local suppliers Nor-Tech sources from. Being in South Florida, in the same supply chain as the factory, is the reason we can put a boat back to factory colour and texture instead of finding something close.
The two-year warranty is not a marketing line. It is a signed document, and the terms are published above so you can read them before you spend anything.
Photos First, Price Follows.
Most quotes come back within one business day, usually the same afternoon.
Send us photos
A wide shot of the cockpit and a few close-ups of the worst seams is usually enough. We can often quote from photos alone, without you bringing the boat in.
Would rather just talk it through?
Book a fifteen minute call. We will ask about the boat, what you want done, and give you a straight answer on cost and timing.
